On July 11th, 2007 Soundview Executive Book Summaries hosted the latest in their Beyond the Books™ audio conference series with Dr. Marshall Goldsmith as the guest speaker. The conference was entitled How Successful People Become Even More Successful, from the subtitle of his recent best-selling book What Got You Here Won’t Get You There. Dr Marshall led off the conference with an overview of the basic concepts from his book, reviewing some of the 20 annoying habits of successful people, what executives need to STOP in order to shake these habits, and wrapping up with a description of his Feedforward technique for dealing with the habits that annoy others and keep us from continuing a successful career and life.
The audio conference was filled with great examples and illustrations which really piqued the interest of attendees, as was demonstrated when the lines were open for questions. Dr. Goldsmith received many questions by phone and email, along with a few from Soundview moderator Peter Walts.
